Modern X-Ray is dedicated to making beautiful
and unique lamps for your home, and successful
alternative advertising for your business. We
believe in the quality and the authenticity of the
handcrafted item. Our lamps have a unique
vintage flavor and clean modern lines.
The shades are printed on premium back-lit paper
and cold laminated. They are mounted on sturdy
styrene and hand tied to powder coated metal
frames.
Owner/designer Lisa Pedersen is the former
co-owner and co-creator of the world famous bar
and laundromat The Sit & Spin. Featured in
publications such as Rolling Stone, Harpers Bazaar
and SOMA magazine, this iconic landmark drew
local and tourist crowds alike to it's downtown
Seattle doors. The Sit & Spin was televised on The
Food Network, the BBC and E-TV, and was marked
by over 200 websites as a truly unique place to eat,
listen to rock & roll and yes sir, do your laundry. For
ten years it's bright and hip style inspired thousands
of artists, musicians and celebrities.
